Prima Ballerina!

Grace was invited to participate in class at a dance studio recently.  One of her daycare friends had a family and friends night where they could invite someone to join the class so off we went.  Grace was so excited she apparently talked about it all day at daycare, how she was going to dance.  She couldn't wait to put on her dance outfit after nap and as soon as I walked through the door at daycare started asking me if we were going to "her" dance class!!!LOL
She had a great time, needed me close by but did try a few things on her own as well.  Grace especially liked the tap shoes, go figure!!!

This is Grace's version of skipping.  It's a sort of one foot hop thing where she swings her leg out behind her.  Hilarious to watch!

World Snow Day!

Grace and I spent the afternoon enjoying everything snow!  Today is World Snow Day (who knew!!??) and my town hosted an event with skiing, skating, tobogganing, horse drawn wagon rides and of course hot chocolate!
The day was mild and snowing and we stopped by Grandma and Grandpa's on the way home soaking and tired.  I secretly love that smell of wet snow pants and boots (any parent of a young child or primary teacher will know exactly the smell I'm referring to!) It makes me think of fun and that smell is a sure sign that big snow fun has just been had!

Grace was calling the horses to come back, yelling at the top of her lungs!  She is so hilarious some times!!!

Wipe out!!!

What you don't see if the mega-hill on the other side of where we were.  Grace wanted so badly to go down that big hill with her little toboggan.  I held her off by telling her we hadn't brought her helmet.  I'm good till next year now I hope!  She's such a dare devil!

Grace spent two or three minutes trying to get on this train toy, only to say she was done two or three seconds after finally getting on!

More Christmas Fun

Anna!!  Will she ever tire of Frozen!!??

Goofing around with cousins.  Poor Daisy had no bed while Grace and the little K-man build forts with Daisy's couch cushions.

Christmas holidays are the absolute best time to have your nap on the couch.... or Grandpa's chair or the recliner or on the floor or the.... well, you get it!

On the Third Day of Christmas!

On the third day of Christmas.... or for us Boxing Day!  We celebrated our official Christmas dinner on Boxing Day this year.  Eddy's three kids were missed but we had a good dinner and get together swimming and exchanging gifts.

I'm sure she will laugh at these pictures when she's older.  Riding K's roller coaster in her good dress and Elsa wig!  What a character she is!

A big Barney!  Yeah!!!!!
